Important Notice 2024

After six amazing years building the world's first participation system at scale here in Barking and Dagenham, Every One Every Day completed its final funded year of activities in December 2023.

You will have noticed many changes throughout 2023 as we closed spaces, reorganised our teams and worked towards leaving a strong legacy for the extraordinary things we have created together.

This has involved many difficult decisions, and we have been very sad to close spaces, bring activities to a conclusion and say goodbye to some great friends and team members.

But it has been an amazing privilege to work with nearly 10,000 of you on projects, programmes, and activities across Barking and Dagenham over the past six years.

Below, you can find some up to date information about what we did last year and what we are working on now.

THE CURRENT PICTURE

FABRIC LAB AT HEATHWAY

Fabric Lab is a group of residents who have built a collaboration around a shared interest in working with fabric, making and mending clothes, and learning new skills.

They currently still operate from Unit 19 in the Heathway shopping centre, and are currently exploring options to find a new home for their collaboration after Unit 19 closes in May.

If you are interested in joining courses, using the co-workshop and meeting fellow makers you can still get in touch via heathway@weareeveryone.org.

NEIGHBOURHOOD SHOPS AND THE WAREHOUSE

As of November 2023, with the exception of Unit 19 at the Heathway, all our neighbourhood shops and other spaces are now closed.

ASSETS, MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT

During 2023 we ran an open process to find new homes for the equipment, machinery and workshops we held on behalf of residents in the borough.

This process has now  concluded, with all assets having been distributed to their  new homes.

Click on the link below to see details about where the assets now live, who hosts them and how you can access them.
