Wouldn’t it be great if we could redesign items we normally throw away to create new and useful ones? These sessions are for everybody that wants to tune into their own creative potential by recycling materials and transforming waste and old items in a fun environment. What will you make?

Pallet Transformation

Thursday 14 March | 10.00am - 12.00pm

116 Church Elm Lane, Dagenham, RM10 9RL

My name is Selasi and I am a local architect with a flare for taking old materials, revamping them and creating something useful out of them to promote the idea of sustainable living. I want to share my DIY skills with my neighbours so come along to this session where we will transform unused pallets into tables on wheels.

Cards & Tags

Tuesday 16 April | 10.00 - 11.30am

116 Church Elm Lane, Dagenham, RM10 9RL

My name is Kelly, I’m self taught crafter and sell my handmade cards across the borough.  I’m excited to share my skills with others. I’ll be sharing how to design, make and decorate a personalised card with a matching gift tag to use for an upcoming special occasion. Bring your old greeting cards and tags and leave with new ones! With this savvy upcycle you’ll help the environment and make a loved one feel special to boot.
