Everyone has clothes they rarely wear. Share & Mend is a community clothes exchange, where you can exchange your lesser loved/worn clothes for something fresh for the new year. Bring up to 10 items of clothing, shoes and accessories and choose some from the items others have brought in. You can expect to find fabric, men’s/women’s/children’s clothing, high street pieces, vintage gems, basics and more. We’ll have sewing machines on hand and people with mending know-how to make adjustments on the spot.

* All clothing should be in good, clean condition with no marks, holes or damage.*

My name is Sushma, I have lived in Barking for only one year, so I want to make new friends. I like to keep myself busy with arts & crafts, and I thought I would share my skills of making flowers out of stockings. They are a colourful, washable and decorative item that is easy to make. They can be made into hair clips or be given as gifts.
