Why I wanted to join the team?

A few years ago I came to two conclusions. One was that everyone has something important to offer society. The other was that there are so many systems within society which make that difficult. I’m of the belief that as a whole, we underestimate ourselves. Citizens can do so much when they work together but often the opportunities that enable this are few and far between. When Every One Every Day appeared  I knew then that this was the place for me and as soon as the opportunity arose I applied to join.

A little bit about my background.

I’ve just completed a Masters in Social Work with a particular focus on the importance of community. Before that I worked with people who were homeless and volunteered for a number of organisations that work with vulnerable people. It was these experiences that taught me how much everyone has to offer.
