MIKE CRIBB

Systems Director

I have been involved with several community, charity and social enterprise projects as a mentor, skills contributor, director and seed investor. Most recently with the launch of Street Support, an online network to support homeless people, and as a co-founder of Greater Manchester Poverty Action.

These, and other projects, have all led me to one ineluctable conclusion - trust people. People ‘on the ground’ are the only ones who know what is really needed in their communities. When I saw that open-to-all participation and co-creation were central pillars of Every One Every Day, I wanted to join.

His passion is how systems can be redesigned to empower the casualties of political and economic systems - systems that rarely put human needs and capabilities at their centre. He and his wife have recently ‘retired’ - moving from a quiet Cheshire village to East London to be nearer their two grown-up children and to avoid being bored.
