SATURDAY 30 NOVEMBER | 10.00AM - 4.00PM

Come along to the second official We Make Our City festival at The Warehouse. The day will be full of amazing activities for everyone!

Makers have been busy at work since the opening of The Warehouse in March 2019. The space has been totally transformed and is now a fully functioning makerspace.

There is everything from a ceramics area, messy making area, CNC machine, laser cutter and fabrics space inclusive of sewing machine, a heat press and more!

We will be making a lot of things, sharing skills and the stories of all of the people doing amazing neighbourhood projects in Barking and Dagenham and further afield.

It will be a great opportunity to see all of the changes that have taken place in the space over the last few months. So, come and take the opportunity to experience The Warehouse and everything that is on offer.

There will be inspiring talks and hands-on making activities. You will also have time to meet project designers, discuss any ideas that you might have and find out how you can start a project.

Enjoy some delicious food prepared by the residents who are part of the collaborative business project ‘Bowled’. If you are thinking of joining one of the eleven collaborative business programmes yourself, this is a chance for you to talk to other residents, hear their stories and sign up.

Make sure you save the date! From a hydroponics talk, to mass food making, it will be a festival day full of inspiration and amazing talents!
