Every One Every Day has partnered with TEDx Countdown to host a number of important online events in 2020. Countdown is a global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action.

During the Covid-19 crisis many people have been talking about how the lockdown has emphasised what matters most to them, their families and friends, their health and their time outdoors in their streets and parks. Therefore we asked: ‘What is essential to you?’, hosting conversations and launching programmes which bring some of these ideas to life and test them in the real world.

We have a unique moment of opportunity to pull together, to re-connect and to talk about how we can rebuild our networks, neighbourhoods and economies. What new opportunities and ideas can we create together, and what practical actions we can take today to lay the foundations for a positive tomorrow?

These online events are aimed at asking what matters most to people in Barking and Dagenham, bringing panelists from different spheres of life to share their ways of tackling global warming crisis with the circular economy model in mind.
