rewilding

Conserving existing wild spaces so that birds, bees, bugs and small wildlife can be restored.

The Rewilding Project is about local people, organisations, schools and businesses working together to help nature flourish on the streets and green spaces around our homes. Together we can conserve existing wild spaces so that birds, bees, bugs, small wildlife and a sense of wonder can be restored as we rediscover our relationship with the wild.

A useful outcome of the Rewilding project is that it also focuses on reducing waste, carbon emissions and natural environment protection and restoration to combat the effects of climate change.

Residents have the opportunity to adopt a tree from a large variety of trees such as the Hawthorn, Rowan, Blackthorn, Silver Birch, Hazel, Common Oak and various fruit trees. The Every One Every Day team can help with mapping out the green spaces on and around your street, choosing the right species and developing a care plan.

ADOPT A TREE

Want to plant your own tree? We can supply you with trees that are free to take, with no limit on how many. We will help you map out your space, choose your species and develop a care plan. If you find that your desired tree is not available, you are able to request your specific tree and reserve it.

Trees that are available:

Hawthorn, Rowan, Blackthorn, Silver Birch, Hazel, Common Oak and various fruit trees on request.

To adopt a tree, it’s really quite simple, go to this web link and tell us a bit more about the space you have in mind and you will have a list of trees that will be perfectly suited to your space.
