all about creating a space where children can learn from each other and adults around them.

The Mini Maker project is all about creating a space where children can learn from each other and adults around them. In different settings all over Barking and Dagenham, kids have the opportunity  to explore their creativity through making, playing and collaborating with one another.

The Mini Maker project was created by a group of parents who wanted to inspire their children with the world and people around them. The project grew from conversations between a few families who had spent lots of time in the Church Elm Lane shop participating in sessions and providing flexible childcare for each other's children.

The parents all had the shared aim to inspire their children and create more opportunities for their little ones to make new friends and for parents to get to know each other. Everyone is welcome at a Mini Maker session!

Mini Makers also have a dedicated space for them in Everyone’s Warehouse where they can learn, play and make, just like the adults.

mini maker session’s coming soon!
