What I am working on at the moment?

Busily interrogating the idea of prosperous London and the South East. Outside the Westminster bubble, I’m enjoying living by the sea in Brighton and getting creative planning for my wedding next year!

Why I wanted to join the Participatory City Foundation Board?

A chance to be part of something truly transformative and genuinely radical.

A little bit about my background

After a few happy years working for a council in the shires (highlights included spinning out a rare breeds country farm as a social enterprise) I was drawn to the bright lights of the big city and moved to head up the Cabinet Office’s community action programmes in the Office for Civil Society. 6,500 community organisers later, I’ve now shifted over into local growth policy where it’s all about devolution, devolution, devolution.
