Hydroponics is the name of a futuristic way of growing plants without soil. It’s a clever system, using LED lights and special growing equipment that allows plants to grow all year round and with more nutrients than traditional farming.
It’s really taking off in cities because it can be done anywhere. Imagine a mini farm in your basement, or a herb garden under the stairs!
Glowing Greens sessions are all about learning how to use the hydroponic towers that live in the Warehouse and at the Ripple Road Shop. Come along and let’s see what we can grow together to create food from the future.
Why not bring some seeds for something that you would like to grow and test what is possible, or simply come along with a curious mind – who knows where it might take you!
